Bactivate is a granular Microbial Soil Conditioner composed of 5 specific Bacillus species (listed below) that enhance plant growth and protection.

These beneficial rhizobacteria promote plant growth directly and/or indirectly by:

Producing plant regulators Facilitating nutrient uptake Accelerating mineralisation Reducing plant stress

Providing nitrogen fixation Promoting other beneficial micro-organisms such as ‘mycorrhizal fungi’ Suppressing plant diseases, and Functioning as nematicides and insecticides

Bactivate:

• can be broadcast through normal spreading machines (low rotation needed).
• can be stored up to 3 years (covered, dry and out of direct sunlight).

Bactivate BioBoost+ is an organic biostimulant enriched with calcium. Bactivate BioBoost+:

replenishes much needed nutrients in the soil; feeds plant root development stimulating plant growth;

binds the soil, reducing soil erosion; and is hydrophilic, readily absorbing moisture.

Bactivate BioBoost+ primarily contains salts of carbonic acids such as saccharinic, aldonic and formic acids, which function as fertilisers and stimulate root development. The hydroscopic properties of the carbonic acid salts in Bactivate BioBoost+ increase water absorption and retention as well as encourage the biological life of the soil and the production of beneficial bacteria. By stimulating the microbial processes in the soil, it aids in the decomposition of organic materials, which allow nutrients to be released back into the soil. This process allows the soil to be better aerated and receptive to supporting

plant growth, subsequently improving water percolation, drainage and vitality within the soil. The benefits of Bactivate BioBoost+ extend beyond the soil. What is BioBoost+

Bactivate Shield is a microbial soil ameliorant composed of live beneficial microorganisms that enhances the plant growth and help address the impact of certain plant pathogens, especially Fusarium oxysporum, Rhizotonia, Aspergillus, and others.

The right bacteria in the right soil can do more than just break down organic matter, build the soil structure, fix nitrogen and release phosphorus and potassium from the soils. However, the key is having the right micro-organisms. Paenibacillus polymyxa SQR 21, which is a ubiquitous bacterium commonly found in soils, is present in Bactivate Shield. Trichoderma viride SQR T37 is a fungus and is also present in Bactivate Shield.

Bactivate Shield:

• It can be broadcast, through normal spreading machines – low rotation needed.
• It can be applied with and during the planting of seeds or applying other types of fertilisers.
• It can be stored up to 18 months from purchase unopened, in a dry place and out of direct sunlight.
